As a Paraprofessional, you’ll play a valued role within specialized educational environments, assisting certified teachers and providing direct support to students who benefit most from personalized attention. Key Qualifications:

• Associate’s Degree or Paraeducator Certification required (Highly Qualified status)
• Experience in a special education setting is preferred, but strong entry-level candidates are welcome
• Ability to foster supportive, inclusive environments for diverse learners
• Clear communicator and teammate in fast-paced classroom environments
• Willingness to work on-site, supporting students full-time
• Effective problem-solving skills and a compassionate approach

Role Overview:

• Assist teachers with classroom management, instructional delivery, and daily activities
• Support individual students or small groups in Setting IV special education programs
• Provide guidance, encouragement, and positive behavioral supports
• Help implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Foster a safe, respectful, and nurturing atmosphere for all students
• Maintain accurate notes on student participation and progress
• Participate in training and team meetings as required
