Step into a vital role supporting students as a dedicated paraprofessional in a vibrant educational environment. Work on-site in a contract position running through June 4, 2026, with opportunities available year-round. This district prioritizes its “focus program” and consistently seeks passionate, reliable Paraprofessionals/Education Assistants to make a difference. Multiple positions are available, allowing you to join a supportive team and build lasting connections with students.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Minimum of two years of college credits from an accredited institution or
  • Associate degree (or higher) or
  • Passing score on an approved academic assessment (ParaPro, ParaPathways, The Master Teacher) or evidence meeting the MDE approved competency grid
  • PCA certificate (or willingness to earn—free and takes under an hour)
  • Proof of required education, assessments, or certifications must be provided upon application
  • Flexibility to attend a mandatory in-person orientation on Wednesdays at 1:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support and guidance to students within the “focus program” and general classroom settings
  • Collaborate with educators and staff in the development and implementation of individualized learning plans
  • Assist with classroom management, instructional activities, and student engagement
  • Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages student confidence and growth
  • Maintain accurate records and adhere to district protocols
