Desired Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of paraprofessional experience in a school setting
• ESEA (Every Student Succeeds Act) endorsement required
• Comfortable and flexible to support students across K-12, adapting to various classroom situations
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working closely with teachers, staff, and families
• Commitment to student engagement, positive reinforcement, and implementing individualized strategies
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment

Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers in implementing lesson plans and activities tailored to student needs
• Support students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts
• Facilitate inclusion of students with diverse learning profiles within general or special education settings
• Help manage classroom routines and student behavior
• Prepare learning materials and assist in administrative classroom tasks
• Communicate progress and observations to teaching staff and, when appropriate, families
• Foster a nurturing, respectful, and safe environment for all students
