A full-time paraprofessional position is available in a school setting in Lebanon, NH, from ASAP through June 2026. This contract role involves working closely with a high school student with autism, providing specialized educational support throughout the school year.
Responsibilities include:
- Implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques, specifically discrete trial training.
- Supporting behavioral interventions to assist the student’s learning and social development.
- Collaborating closely with teachers and other school staff to create a positive and inclusive educational environment.
- Monitoring and documenting student progress and behavioral data.
- Adapting strategies as needed based on student responses and educational goals.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience working in schools as a paraprofessional is required.
- Demonstrated background in ABA methods, especially discrete trial interventions and behavior management.
- Ability to work effectively with high school students with autism.
- Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation.
- Full availability for 32.5-35 hours per week during the school year.
