Special Education Para Professional in Lebanon, NH

Make a significant impact supporting students’ educational journeys as a paraprofessional during the upcoming school year. This full-time contract opportunity is located near Lebanon, NH and runs from August 2026 through June 2027. You’ll play a vital role in fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom for a high school caseload, working Monday through Friday for 32-37.5 hours per week.

As a valued contributor, you’ll collaborate closely with teachers and staff to provide academic, behavioral, and emotional assistance to students, helping them reach their fullest potential. If you’re passionate about student-centered education and eager to make a difference, this role is for you!

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Experience as a paraprofessional, classroom aide, or in a similar support position
• Commitment to assisting high school students in both academic and social growth
• Clear interpersonal and communication skills to effectively support students and collaborate with educators
• Patience, flexibility, and empathy in a school environment
• High school diploma or equivalent (some roles may require additional certifications)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to students in classrooms and resource settings
• Assist with instructional activities, accommodations, and modified assignments
• Encourage positive classroom behavior and model respectful interactions
• Support students with physical or behavioral needs under staff guidance
• Collaborate with teachers to track progress and adjust support strategies
