Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar classroom support role is preferred

• Ability to follow directions from teaching staff and implement individualized plans

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one or small group instruction under the guidance of certified teachers
• Support students with varying needs, including those who require academic modification or behavior intervention
• Assist with classroom organization, materials preparation, and reinforcing lessons
• Encourage students’ participation, social-emotional development, and independence
• Supervise students during classroom, lunch, and transition times to ensure safety
• Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and positive rapport within the school community
