You’ll use your language skills and caring nature to aid with academic, physical, and social development—helping a student thrive in a nurturing school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer consistent, personalized support for a kindergarten student throughout the school day
  • Safely assist with transfers in and out of chairs and provide mobility support
  • Aid with fine motor tasks and basics like opening classroom materials or supplies
  • Empower participation in daily lessons, activities, and routines
  • Escort the student between classrooms as needed
  • Foster communication and understanding among staff, students, and families in English and Spanish

Qualifications:

  • Fluent in both English and Spanish (required)
  • Comfortable providing hands-on support and mobility assistance
  • Patient, adaptable, and dedicated to student well-being
  • Prior experience with early childhood or special education students preferred
  • Understanding of 504 Plans or willingness to learn more
  • Dependable, team-oriented, and proactive in meeting individualized needs
