Key Responsibilities:
- Offer consistent, personalized support for a kindergarten student throughout the school day
- Safely assist with transfers in and out of chairs and provide mobility support
- Aid with fine motor tasks and basics like opening classroom materials or supplies
- Empower participation in daily lessons, activities, and routines
- Escort the student between classrooms as needed
- Foster communication and understanding among staff, students, and families in English and Spanish
Qualifications:
- Fluent in both English and Spanish (required)
- Comfortable providing hands-on support and mobility assistance
- Patient, adaptable, and dedicated to student well-being
- Prior experience with early childhood or special education students preferred
- Understanding of 504 Plans or willingness to learn more
- Dependable, team-oriented, and proactive in meeting individualized needs
