This contract opportunity spans the full academic year, supporting students and educators at both Antioch Middle School and Ravenwood Elementary, with two distinct schedules to fit different working preferences. Key Qualifications:

• Hold an active Missouri substitute certificate (DESE)
• Recent experience in school settings, specifically with behavioral support
• Willingness to obtain district-specific fingerprint clearance (candidate covers upfront cost)
• Dependable transportation for regular attendance
• Flexibility to transition between assignments or locations as needed throughout the year
• Genuine interest in supporting diverse learners and collaborating with education professionals

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct assistance and guidance to students in classroom, one-on-one, and small group settings
• Implement academic and behavioral strategies under the supervision of certified teachers
• Support teachers with classroom management, preparing instructional materials, and adapting lessons for individual needs
• Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive school environment
• Collaborate effectively with school staff to address student needs and contribute to IEP goals
• Support students’ social, emotional, and academic growth through constructive feedback and encouragement
