Key Qualifications:

• Active Missouri substitute certificate or valid paraprofessional certification is required
• Experience assisting students with functional skills preferred
• Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with students and staff
• Adaptable, patient, and committed to supporting diverse learning needs
• Previous experience in educational or school settings is highly valued

Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on instructional support in Grade 1, 3, and 4 classrooms
• Assist lead teachers in creating a nurturing, inclusive learning environment
• Work one-on-one or in small groups with students requiring functional skills support
• Support the implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Use effective strategies to encourage student independence and confidence
• Maintain a safe, respectful classroom atmosphere at all times
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to address student goals and progress
