Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 1.5 years of classroom experience, especially with behaviors, autism, or medically fragile students
• Strong background working with special needs and severe caseloads requiring advanced training
• For the medically fragile position, prior experience and comfort supporting students with complex medical needs; familiarity with Hoyer lifts is a plus, though not required
• Proven ability to remain patient, compassionate, and proactive in demanding environments
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with teachers and support staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual or small-group instructional support under the supervision of certified teachers
• Assist with implementing behavior support plans and educational interventions
• Monitor student progress and participate in data collection as requested
• Support students with medical needs, including positioning, transfers, and personal care as appropriate
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment for all students
