Instructional Assistant - Levittown, PA

Make a daily difference in the lives of students by supporting their learning journey as a dedicated Paraprofessional specializing in Autistic Support. This is a full-time, contract opportunity near Levittown, PA, offering the chance to work in a collaborative school environment until June 2027.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience supporting students in a school setting, particularly those with autism or special needs, is highly valued.
• Willingness to provide personal care and ensure student safety as part of your daily responsibilities.
• Flexibility and a student-centered mindset, adapting as needed throughout the school day.
• Ability to follow teacher direction professionally and constructively.
• Punctuality and reliability in attendance are a must.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred—or willingness to obtain it within the first 10 school days.
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification preferred; training provided shortly after hire if not already certified.
• Required clearances and references must be submitted for consideration.
• Comfortable working onsite throughout the school year according to the schedule: 8:50 AM–3:50 PM, Monday–Friday (32.5 hours per week with a 30-minute unpaid lunch).

Responsibilities:

• Support students in their daily academic and social routines, facilitating their engagement and success.
• Provide individualized assistance under teacher supervision, including personal care as needed.
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
• Be actively involved in implementing behavior support strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communication as requested.
