Instructional Aide - Liberty, MO

Your primary focus will be working one-on-one with a student, fostering a positive atmosphere, and ensuring each day is filled with meaningful progress and encouragement. This role offers a consistent weekday schedule from 9:00 am to 4:25 pm, through the end of October.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current active substitute certificate from DESE is required
• Prior experience working in school settings and with behavioral needs
• Reliable personal transportation for commuting to the school
• Successful completion of fingerprinting for district-specific requirements
• Strong interpersonal communication and adaptability
• Commitment to supporting student learning and classroom engagement

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide dedicated 1:1 assistance to a student during classroom activities, transitions, and daily routines
• Promote a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
• Support classroom teachers with implementing behavior intervention and instructional strategies
• Monitor and document student progress, reporting observations to educators and specialists as needed
• Develop positive relationships with students, staff, and families
