These roles run from now through the end of May, offering rewarding, hands-on experience in education while making a daily difference for young learners.

What we look for:

• Active Substitute Certificate on DESE or Paraprofessional exam results on file with a diploma
• Experience working in school settings and familiarity with behavior intervention
• Flexibility to adapt and work at different sites as needed throughout the year
• Reliable transportation to ensure consistent attendance across sites
• Willingness to complete fingerprint background checks, as required
• Ability to communicate well and collaborate with students and staff

In this position, you will:

• Support teachers and other staff in classroom management and activities
• Assist students individually or in groups to help meet learning goals
• Implement behavior plans and reinforce positive student conduct
• Adapt quickly to changes in assignment, embracing new challenges
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality

Openings are available at various school sites with hours generally ranging from 7:00–2:30 (middle school) or 8:30–3:55 (elementary school), depending on assignment. Candidates must be prepared for an interview process that includes an initial prescreening followed by a meeting with school leadership.
