This contract opportunity centers on personalized, one-to-one assistance for two medically fragile female students—one in 4th grade and one in 11th grade—creating a rewarding space to impact young lives.

Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current or recent experience as a paraprofessional supporting students with special needs
• Comfortable assisting with toileting/diapering; commitment to preserving student dignity and privacy
• Readiness to work with medically fragile students (prior experience an advantage)
• Patience and understanding for supporting behaviors, especially with older students
• Willingness to learn to use a hoyer lift; campus training provided if needed
• Strong team collaboration skills to engage with teachers, therapists, and other staff

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive, individualized support to assigned students throughout the school day
• Assist with personal care and hygiene, including toileting and diapering as required
• Monitor and proactively address student behavior, employing strategies outlined by the team
• Support student integration and participation in academic and classroom activities
• Attend weekly team meetings every Tuesday at 8:00am to ensure effective communication and comprehensive student care
• Communicate student needs and progress to staff and participate in continuous training as provided
