This full-time Educational Technician III (Ed Tech III) contract position is available in a welcoming Pre-K classroom near Lincolnville, ME. You’ll play a vital role in the early childhood educational journey, guiding and supporting students as they build foundational academic and social skills.

As an Ed Tech III, you’ll:

• Provide both instructional and behavioral assistance to Pre-K students throughout the day
• Help facilitate classroom activities, routines, and smooth transitions
• Foster holistic growth—academic, developmental, social, and emotional
• Support individualized learning and behavior plans under the guidance of classroom teachers and the special education team
• Offer personal care and encourage skill-building in communication and daily living as needed
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other staff to create supportive strategies
• Ensure the classroom remains a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for every student
• Document student progress and promptly communicate observations to the educational team

The ideal candidate will bring:

• Maine Ed Tech III certification, or eligibility to obtain it
• A proven track record working with young children, ideally in a school or early childhood environment
• Experience supporting students with special education needs preferred
• Strong communication skills, positivity, and excellent teamwork
• A commitment to promoting a positive and engaging learning atmosphere
