Key Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Paraprofessional in a school environment
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) training required
• Familiarity working with behavior intervention plans and supporting diverse student needs
• Interest or experience in working under the guidance of a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst)
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
• Adaptability to follow structured support plans and adjust to varying classroom environments

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Assist students in achieving behavioral and academic goals outlined by educators and BCBA-supervised plans
• Implement strategies to foster positive behavior and promote classroom engagement
• Support teachers with daily classroom activities and provide one-on-one or small group assistance as needed
• Monitor student progress and document observations to aid in the development of individualized plans
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all students, upholding professional boundaries and confidentiality
• Attend required professional training and participate in ongoing learning opportunities
