1:1 Care 1:1 Instructional Assistant - Littleton, CO

Step into a rewarding, part-time opportunity supporting students in an educational environment in the Littleton, CO area. This contract position plays a critical role as a 1:1 or 2:1 bus aide, providing care and attention to students during their daily transportation. Collaborate with educational staff and transportation teams to ensure safe and positive experiences for all.

You’ll work approximately 3 hours per day—offering an ideal schedule for someone seeking flexibility while making a meaningful impact. Your daily split shifts will occur in the early morning (between 6:30 am and 8:30 am) and afternoon (between 2:30 pm and 4:30 pm), totaling 15 hours per week. This contract runs from now until May 29, 2026, offering consistency and stability throughout the school years.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Either Paraprofessional credential or Certified Nursing Assistant license required.
• Experience supporting children or young adults in school, care, or therapeutic settings.
• Patience, reliability, and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team atmosphere.
• Must pass required background checks and clearances.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide supervision and individualized support to students during bus transportation.
• Assist with safe loading and unloading of students.
• Maintain awareness of student needs, intervening when necessary for safety and comfort.
• Foster a friendly, supportive environment throughout the bus ride.
• Communicate effectively with school staff, drivers, and caregivers regarding student needs.
• Adhere to all protocols related to confidentiality and student well-being.
