Paraprofessional opportunities are available on a contract basis near Livonia, MI, offering rewarding hands-on experience in various educational settings. We are seeking dedicated candidates with a strong desire to support students and educators in both full-time and long-term guest roles. Current openings span multiple grade levels and classroom environments, focusing on providing essential assistance in daily learning activities.

Current opportunities include two full-time roles at Hardy Elementary Level III, a part-time position at Salem Elementary supporting the EI classroom, and several long-term guest paraeducator assignments (approximately 10-12 weeks each). Specific details and classroom placements will be discussed during your interview.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar educational support capacity preferred
• 60 college credits, or eligible for a Paraprofessional certificate (candidates may begin with pending certification upon offer)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and students
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school environment

Responsibilities:

• Provide instructional and classroom support under the supervision of certified staff
• Assist students with academic tasks, social engagement, and classroom routines
• Help maintain a safe and productive classroom environment
• Support the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) as needed
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to lead teachers
