With schedules ranging from 32.5 to 35 hours per week, you’ll work alongside a dedicated team focused on delivering exceptional care and educational support.
Desired Qualifications:
- Previous paraprofessional or school-based experience preferred
- Genuine passion for working with elementary-aged children
- Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
- Experience supporting students with autism or intensive needs highly valued
- Reliability and flexibility working within a team-driven environment
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the instructional and social-emotional needs of students with autism in elementary intensive programs
- Assist lead teachers with classroom activities, behavioral reinforcement, and academic instruction
- Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) under guidance of educators and specialists
- Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive atmosphere for all students
- Assist with daily routines, transitions, and personal care as needed
- Maintain open communication with staff and contribute to regular team meetings
