Instructional Aide in Lone Tree, CO

An opportunity is available for three dedicated paraprofessionals/education assistants to support students in a school setting located in Lone Tree, CO. This full-time contract role focuses on providing direct assistance within a classroom designed for students with significant support needs.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting a classroom of nine students from grades K–6 with significant behavioral needs.
• Assisting with pre-academic behaviors and providing general classroom support.
• Delivering small group instruction and maintaining effective classroom management.
• Monitoring and responding consistently to behavioral challenges throughout the school day.

Key qualifications and experience:

• An Associate’s degree (AA) or higher is required.
• At least 1 year of experience as a paraprofessional working in a school classroom.
• ParaPro Certification with a minimum of 2 years’ classroom experience is preferred.
• Candidates with strong prior experience and certifications will be prioritized.

Schedule and contract details:

• Start Date: As soon as possible
• End Date: May 21, 2026
• Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
• Work location: One school building, supporting a specialized classroom.
