Qualifications and Experience:

  • Previous experience as a paraprofessional in a K-12 setting is highly valued
  • Ability to assist with academic and behavioral support, including implementing behavior analysis (BA) strategies
  • Flexible and adaptable to varying classroom settings and student needs
  • Collaborative team player with exceptional communication skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree or higher preferred
  • Willingness to work under the supervision of credentialed teachers and follow established protocols

Responsibilities Include:

  • Supporting instructional activities for students based on established lesson plans
  • Implementing behavioral interventions and positive reinforcement techniques
  • Assisting students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning
  • Monitoring student progress and communicating observations to lead staff
  • Helping maintain an organized, safe, and supportive classroom environment
  • Encouraging positive social interactions and emotional well-being
