We're seeking compassionate, reliable individuals to support students for the entire 2026/2027 school year—with a strong potential for renewal and extended opportunities. This is an especially great match if you have experience as a Paraprofessional or Certified Nursing Assistant and are comfortable working 1:1 or 2:1 with students who may have special needs.

Expect to work between 10–15 hours a week, supporting students during morning and afternoon routes. Shifts typically run from 6:30–8:30 a.m. and 2:30–4:30 p.m., offering flexibility to fit with other commitments.

Qualifications:

  • Paraprofessional or Certified Nursing Assistant credentials accepted
  • Experience supporting students with special needs, especially in de-escalation and positive communication
  • Reliable, punctual, and comfortable managing independent work on a set schedule
  • Prior experience riding the bus to assist students is highly preferred
  • Commitment to complete onboarding requirements, including CANS fingerprinting (reimbursed)

Responsibilities:

  • Ride in the school vehicle to support students, ensuring safety and comfort during transit
  • Provide 1:1 or 2:1 assistance based on assignment
  • Implement positive behavioral interventions and use verbal de-escalation techniques as needed
  • Communicate clearly with the transportation team and school staff
  • Maintain accurate attendance and incident records

Twelve positions are available, and interviews are quick—just 15 minutes. Successful candidates will complete onboarding with both the agency and the educational service district, laying the groundwork for a meaningful year of support.
