Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Prior experience in a paraprofessional or support role within a school setting is preferred
• Understanding of classroom routines and a passion for early childhood education
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, specialists, and fellow support staff
• Strong communication skills with students, staff, and families
• Patience, adaptability, and a caring approach to working with young children
• High school diploma or GED required; further relevant training or certification is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct assistance to students in the K-2 instructional program, both individually and in small groups
• Support teachers in delivering lessons, implementing behavior plans, and reinforcing educational goals
• Assist with classroom activities, daily routines, and transitions
• Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere focused on respect and encouragement
• Help maintain instructional materials, organize classroom spaces, and ensure a safe, structured environment for learning
