Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Prior experience as a paraprofessional in a school setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with lead teachers and support staff
• Adaptability and a nurturing demeanor
• Commitment to maintaining a positive, engaging classroom atmosphere
• High school diploma or equivalent required; further education or certification in education or child development is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist lead teacher with classroom instruction and activities
• Provide individual and small-group support to K-2 students
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and encouraging environment
• Support classroom management and organization throughout the school day
• Assist with implementing instructional plans and modifying materials as needed
• Supervise students during transitions, lunch, and other school activities
• Follow school policies and uphold the district’s mission and values

This role follows a consistent schedule, with hours from 7:50 am to 3:10 pm, providing stability and balance for the duration of the school year.
