This contract opportunity is ideal for someone with strong behavioral experience who is ready to make an impact. You’ll play a key role in assisting speech students during their virtual therapy sessions and work closely with virtual therapists to ensure smooth operations. A willingness to commute to the Macon area is required, as you’ll be actively engaging onsite.

Key qualifications and experience:

• Proven background in behavioral support, preferably in a school or educational setting
• Able and willing to commute reliably to the Macon location
• Experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar support capacity
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Familiarity with virtual communication tools (such as Microsoft Teams and email)
• Comfortable using printers and basic office technology

Core responsibilities include:

• Gathering speech students for scheduled virtual speech therapy sessions
• Monitoring and assisting students during their virtual sessions to maximize engagement
• Acting as an onsite liaison for the virtual therapist: logging into Teams, coordinating emails, downloading and printing therapy materials
• Maintaining accurate records of student attendance and participation
• Providing behavioral support and encouragement to help students thrive
• Communicating effectively with teachers, therapists, and other staff to ensure seamless service delivery
