Qualifications & Experience

• Prior experience as a paraprofessional in an educational setting

• Ability to follow individualized education programs (IEPs) and support academic, behavioral, and social goals

Primary Responsibilities

• Facilitate virtual classroom activities under the direction of special education teachers
• Provide academic and behavioral support to students in an online setting
• Assist with individualized and small group instruction, accommodations, and modifications
• Participate in virtual team meetings and collaborate with staff to track student progress
• Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment tailored to each student’s unique learning plan
• Monitor student engagement and provide encouragement and assistance as needed
