Instructional Assistant - Manchester, New Hampshire

Paraeducators will engage directly in academic and behavioral support for students with intensive needs, working collaboratively with teachers and school staff from August 2026 through June 2027.

Key Qualifications:

• Prior paraprofessional or school-based experience (required)
• Comfortable and confident working with K-12 students with varying needs, including intensive support
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt to dynamic classroom environments and effectively implement teacher-directed strategies
• Reliable, punctual, and passionate about student advocacy

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to students during classroom instruction and activities, addressing both academic and behavioral goals
• Assist teachers in creating an accessible, inclusive learning environment
• Help with documentation of student progress and daily activities
• Support classroom organization and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEP) as directed
• Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and families
• Assist with transitions, activities, and personal care as needed
