What you’ll bring to this role:

  • Experience working one-on-one with students, particularly in settings that require strong behavioral guidance.
  • The ability to create a supportive, structured environment where expectations are clear and independence is encouraged.
  • Demonstrated history of maintaining an authoritative presence while still nurturing emotional growth.
  • At minimum, a high school diploma (with preference given to those holding a Para Certification, Associate degree, or Praxis test results).
  • A compassionate commitment to helping students reach their highest potential.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Providing daily 1:1 support to a 4th-grade student, focusing on both academic and personal development goals.
  • Implementing consistent behavioral management strategies.
  • Collaborating closely with teachers and support staff to align interventions and supports.
  • Traveling between two sites if opting for the full-time schedule.
  • Observing, documenting, and reporting on student progress to inform ongoing strategies.
