What You'll Need:

• High School Diploma required
• Paraeducator Certification, Associate degree, or Praxis highly preferred
• Demonstrated experience in direct 1:1 support with students in an educational or behavioral setting
• Proven strength in maintaining a calm, authoritative, and consistent presence
• Background in behavior management and fostering independence
• Clear communication and collaboration skills

Your Responsibilities:

• Work individually with a 4th-grade female student to provide consistent support and structure
• Establish and reinforce boundaries while encouraging the development of independence
• Collaborate closely with educators, therapists, and families to ensure student needs are being met
• Adapt support strategies as needed to respond to changing behaviors or academic challenges
• Travel between two educational sites (for full-time role)
• Document student progress and challenges for team review
