In this role, you'll work one-on-one with a non-verbal, medically fragile middle school student. Successful candidates will be patient, adaptable, and attentive, ensuring both the academic and personal care needs of the student are met with dignity and respect.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Previous experience as a paraprofessional in an educational setting.
  • Background in working with medically fragile or non-verbal students strongly preferred.
  • Experience with g-tube care and toileting support is a major asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to offer compassionate, individualized support in a school environment.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with teachers, school nurses, and families.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and remain calm under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct, individualized support to the assigned student throughout the school day.
  • Assist with medical and personal care needs, including g-tube feeding and toileting.
  • Support learning activities as directed by teaching staff.
