• Experience working with children or adolescents, preferably in an educational or childcare setting

• High school diploma or equivalent; paraprofessional certificate or relevant training is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Support classroom teachers with daily instructional activities, including one-on-one and small group assistance
• Foster student engagement by providing encouragement and reinforcement
• Supervise students during classroom activities, transitions, and outside breaks as needed
• Assist with classroom organization, material preparation, and documentation
• Work with students who require extra help, including those with special needs or individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Promote a respectful and safe classroom atmosphere, addressing any challenges in a supportive manner
