This contract position offers the opportunity to work closely with students in resource programming, Developmental Cognitive Disabilities (DCD) centerbase, or Ready Set LAUNCH centerbase programs. Key Qualifications:

• Experience working as a paraprofessional in educational settings, ideally in special education or similar environments
• Willingness to assist with a range of student needs, including toileting and other personal care tasks
• Must be highly qualified by one of the following:
  • Pass the MN Board Highly Qualified Para Exam (MN Para Educator Exam)
  • Possess at least 60 college credits (transcripts required; diplomas or pictures of degrees are not accepted)
• Ability to provide both a current resume and a Highly Qualified Document (Para Exam results or transcripts) for consideration
• Preference for working within resource, DCD, or LAUNCH should be indicated

Responsibilities:

• Provide instructional and personal care support to students as directed by special education staff
• Assist in classroom activities and learning experiences tailored to students’ specific needs
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all learners
• Maintain a professional, supportive relationship with students, staff, and families
• Adapt to varying needs within the assigned caseload and collaborate with educational teams
• Commit to a full contract term, Monday through Friday, 32.5 hours per week
