Teacher's Aide - Maple Grove, Minnesota

Step into a vital support role working in elementary schools near Maple Grove, MN. This contract opportunity spans approximately August 31, 2026, to November 29, 2026, with the potential to transition to direct hire after 422 contracting hours. Qualifications & Experience:

• Must be considered “Highly Qualified” as defined by the district:
  • Either pass the MN Board Highly Qualified Para Exam (Para Educator Exam)
  • OR have a minimum of 60 verified college credits (must provide transcripts; diplomas do not suffice)
• Previous classroom or educational support experience is highly valued
• Willingness to assist with toileting and a variety of support activities as needed
• Organized, reliable, and able to foster positive relationships with students and staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Support classroom teachers and work one-on-one or in small groups with students
• Foster inclusive, supportive, and safe learning environments
• Assist with academic, behavioral, and social skill-building activities
• Help implement education plans, including accommodations and modifications
• Maintain a positive classroom atmosphere and reinforce school policies
• Support students with toileting and other personal care when necessary

Role Details:

• Monday-Friday, 32.5 hours per week
• Contract position with transition to district direct hire after 90 days (422 contracting hours)
• Pay for this role is $20 per hour
