Support young learners’ growth and development in an engaging center-based program designed for children aged 2½ to 3 years old. Desired Qualifications:

  • Eligibility as a Highly Qualified Paraprofessional prior to placement (choose one):
    • Passing score on the MN Board Highly Qualified Para Exam (Para Educator Exam)
    • Completion of at least 60 college credits (transcript required; diplomas/degrees do not fulfill this)
  • Experience working with preschool-aged children or in an early childhood/center-based setting
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to support both students and lead educators
  • Adaptability and patience in a fast-paced, collaborative classroom environment
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe, supportive, and encouraging atmosphere

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily classroom activities, individualized student support, and behavior management
  • Help implement curriculum and routines under teacher guidance
  • Foster positive social interactions and functional skills
  • Contribute to progress monitoring and documentation as requested by educators
  • Adapt approaches to meet each child’s unique needs
