Make a positive difference supporting K-12 students in a specialized educational environment as a paraprofessional. This is a rewarding, contract-based opportunity working with students in a dynamic Setting 4 program, providing vital academic and behavioral support to learners with diverse needs. With the school day running from 7:45 AM to 2:45 PM, Monday through Friday, you’ll have a consistent weekday schedule while serving a vibrant school community.

To be considered, please ensure your resume and one of the following highly qualified documents are attached: passing score from the MN Para Educator Exam, or official college transcripts reflecting at least 60 credits. Applications missing these items cannot be presented for this position.

Qualifications:

• Successful completion of the MN Para Educator Exam, or
• At least 60 college credits (official transcripts required, diplomas are not accepted)
• Experience supporting students with emotional or behavioral needs preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to build rapport and work collaboratively with students and staff

Responsibilities:

• Support students K-12 in classroom and small group settings
• Follow instructional plans designed by licensed teachers and specialists
• Implement de-escalation and behavioral strategies as needed
• Monitor student progress and contribute to goal-setting meetings
• Foster an inclusive and respectful learning environment

Additional Details:

• This is a contract assignment with the possibility of direct hire after 422 contract hours
