Instructional Assistant - Maple Grove, Minnesota

Step into a rewarding support role working with students in a setting 4 program serving grades K–12. This contract opportunity runs from September 8, 2026, through December 7, 2026, with consistent weekday hours from 7:45 AM to 2:45 PM. Qualifications & Experience:

• Must be "highly qualified" prior to presentation. This is achieved by passing the MN Paraprofessional Educator Exam or completing at least 60 college credits (official transcripts required).
• Prior experience supporting students in educational, behavioral, or therapeutic settings is highly desired.
• Ability to build rapport with students, demonstrate patience, and collaborate within a team environment.
• Strong communication skills and a genuine interest in student success are essential.
• All candidates must submit a current resume and the required Highly Qualified Document (either exam results or transcripts). Applications without these documents cannot be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide instructional, behavioral, and emotional assistance to K–12 students within a specialized educational setting.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to implement educational and behavioral plans.
• Adapt support strategies to individual student needs and goals.
• Maintain clear, respectful communication with students, staff, and families.
• Contribute to ongoing observation and data collection to support student growth.
