Instructional Aide - Maple Grove, MN

Step into a vital support role working with young learners in a center-based program designed for children aged 2½ to 3 years old. What We’re Looking For:

• Demonstrated experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar educational support role
• Experience working with preschool-age children, particularly ages 2-3, preferred
• Must meet "Highly Qualified" status in Minnesota through one of the following:
  • Pass the MN Para Educator Exam and submit official score report
  • OR provide an official college transcript showing at least 60 college credits (diploma or degree not sufficient)
• Able to provide both a current resume and the required qualification document for submission
• Strong communication, observation, and collaborative skills
• Commitment to nurturing growth, safety, and inclusion in an educational setting

Your Responsibilities May Include:

• Supporting certified teachers in small group instruction, play-based activities, and individualized guidance
• Modeling appropriate social-emotional behaviors and assisting students as they adjust to routines
• Implementing daily activities tailored to the needs of young children in a center-based classroom
• Maintaining accurate records and supporting student progress toward developmental goals
• Assisting with transitions, classroom organization, and direct supervision throughout the school day

This position offers a set Monday-Friday daytime schedule, 8:00am to 2:30pm, making it easier to balance work and personal commitments. As part of the onboarding process, you will be considered for a direct hire placement after completing a designated contracting period.
