Positions are available across several elementary school sites and one high school, with an immediate start and a transition to direct district employment after the initial contract period.

As a valued team member, you’ll play a vital part in daily classroom routines, working alongside teachers to provide individualized attention, encourage positive behaviors, and help foster an inclusive learning environment. With openings at multiple locations, you’ll have the opportunity to indicate your preferred site, allowing you to align your work environment with your strengths and interests.

Desired Qualifications:

• Must be highly qualified by one of the following:
  • Pass the Minnesota Board Highly Qualified Paraprofessional Exam (Para Educator Exam)
  • Hold at least 60 college credits (official transcripts required)
• Demonstrated experience or strong interest in working with children in an educational setting
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to assist with classroom activities and provide appropriate support to students

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide instructional, behavioral, and social support under teacher guidance
• Assist with small group and one-on-one activities
• Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and safe classroom environment
• Adapt quickly to varying classroom needs across elementary education levels
• Contribute to ongoing communication between staff, students, and families
