Responsibilities:

• Support students who are deaf or hard of hearing during after-school programs.
• Serve as a bridge between students and staff, facilitating clear, effective communication.
• Assist with classroom activities, homework help, and recreational programs as needed.
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive after-school environment.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
• Communicate student needs and progress to educators and school staff.

Position Details:

• Contract role, 20-24 hours per week.
• Hours are 2:30-6PM each school day, offering a consistent part-time schedule.
• Involvement at various sites in the local area, providing valuable experience across different educational settings.
