Special Education Para Professional in Marysville, CA

This full-time contract opportunity is ideal for experienced Paraprofessionals looking for a meaningful role supporting the educational and behavioral needs of Level 3 Autism students. The assignment features a highly involved caseload, working 37.5 hours each week in a school setting near Marysville, CA.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Previous experience as a Paraprofessional in a school environment highly preferred
• Comfort and confidence working with Level 3 Autism students, especially those with intense support needs
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with educators, therapists, and families
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and adapt to challenging situations
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment
• Initiative, empathy, and a proactive approach to meeting student needs

What You’ll Do:

• Support classroom instruction and assist students with daily routines
• Implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and behavior plans
• Supervise and support students in both group and one-on-one settings
• Collaborate with teachers and special education staff on lesson adaptations and strategies
• Assist with sensory and behavioral interventions
• Monitor student progress and document observations as required
• Provide compassionate redirection and encouragement to facilitate growth

This contract position is Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week. You’ll be working alongside a dedicated staff and making a positive impact each day in an environment that truly values your unique skills.
