Bring your passion for supporting students to a dynamic school setting near Fox Chapel, Oakmont, Monroeville, Swissvale, or surrounding communities! An exciting opportunity is available for two dedicated Paraprofessionals to assist throughout the 2025-2026 academic year.

Your impactful work will support students in special education classrooms, with one position focused on autistic support for grades K-1 and another for grades 3-5. These full-time, contract roles begin as soon as possible and continue through June 5, 2026. Schedules are aligned with each school’s daily hours.

Desired Experience and Skills:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in similar school-based support roles
• Comfort assisting students with unique needs, including possible toileting and transitions between activities
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working alongside teachers and other staff
• Adaptability and a caring, student-focused mindset
• Understanding of autism support strategies preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in creating a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom atmosphere
• Support students’ academic, behavioral, and social goals individually or in groups
• Provide personal care, including toileting and lunch duty as needed
• Facilitate classroom transitions and help manage daily routines
• Offer occasional coverage for fellow paraprofessionals as assigned
