Instructional Assistant - Media, PA

This is a full-time contract role with an end date of June 12, 2026, and multiple openings available.

What You'll Bring:

• High school diploma required; CPR certification or willingness to obtain one (resources provided)
• Previous school-based experience, particularly in special education (SPED) settings and behavioral support
• Comfortable providing 1:1 support and managing daily needs, including toileting/diapering
• Experience with behavioral management and addressing elopement issues
• Ability to provide consistent educational and emotional support to K-12 students in an urban setting
• Reliable transportation for onsite responsibilities
• Willing to secure/complete PA clearances as per state requirements
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a diverse school environment
• Access to references for verification

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized assistance to students, supporting their educational goals and personal growth
• Manage and adapt to changing student needs throughout the day
• Implement behavioral strategies and ensure student safety, especially regarding elopement
• Support classroom activities and maintain a positive, inclusive atmosphere
• Provide care and assistance for students with toileting and other personal needs
• Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and administration to support student success
