Para Professional in Media, PA

Embark on a rewarding full-time opportunity as a dedicated paraprofessional supporting students in a diverse K-12 school environment. This contract position promises meaningful hands-on experience, with multiple openings available immediately through June 10, 2027. You’ll work onsite within flexible hours, accommodating school sites between 7:15 AM and 4:00 PM, totaling 35 hours per week.

What you’ll bring:

• Previous experience in a school-based setting
• High school diploma and current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Comfort working with SPED and behaviorally challenged students, including those with elopement risk or physical behaviors
• Willingness and ability to assist with 1:1 student services, toileting, and diapering as needed
• Adaptability to varied caseloads across K-12
• Flexibility with schedule, as site coverage needs may vary
• Reliability—personal transportation to and from sites required
• Completed professional references
• Commitment to completing all necessary Pennsylvania clearances before starting
• Openness to roles including Paraprofessional and Behavior Technician (BT)
• Ability to thrive in an urban school setting
