What we’re looking for:

• Minimum of 2 years' paraprofessional experience working with children in an educational setting
• Current ESEA endorsement required
• Ability to foster an inclusive, engaging classroom atmosphere
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with teachers and school staff
• Flexibility to support a range of ages, grade levels, and classroom needs
• Dedication to promoting student growth and independence

Key responsibilities:

• Provide direct classroom support to teachers, assisting with lesson preparation, individualized instruction, and behavior management
• Work one-on-one or in small groups with students needing academic or behavioral support
• Adapt activities and materials to fit the unique needs of each child
• Encourage a positive and respectful classroom climate
• Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to implement student strategies
• Assist with classroom organization and routines while ensuring student safety and well-being

This position offers pay between $19 and $22 per hour, recognizing your expertise and dedication to enriching the educational experience of students.
