Key Qualifications:

• Experience as a paraprofessional, behavior specialist, or related support role in school settings
• Previous work as a behavior technician or RBT is highly desirable
• Familiarity with implementing behavioral strategies and de-escalation techniques
• Comfort working with students in PreK and Elementary grade levels
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Empathetic, patient, and positive approach to supporting children

Responsibilities:

• Assist lead teachers with classroom activities and adapt materials as needed
• Implement individualized behavior plans and reinforce positive behaviors
• Provide one-on-one or small group interventions to support social and academic success
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to meet students’ needs
• Assist with classroom organization, transitions, and safety procedures
• Foster a respectful, nurturing, and welcoming learning environment
