This full-time contract role offers an opportunity to work closely with students on the Autism Spectrum and those with various behavioral challenges, providing essential support in both classroom and 1:1 environments.

What We're Looking For:

  • At least 1-2 years of experience supporting students with behavioral or special education needs
  • Background as a paraprofessional, paraeducator, or behavior technician highly valued
  • Comfort working 1:1 and with small groups within classroom settings
  • Familiarity with supporting students with mild to significant behavioral challenges, including those on the Autism Spectrum
  • Willingness to assist with personal care, including toileting, as needed
  • Strong commitment to fostering inclusivity and positive learning environments

In This Role You Will:

  • Provide targeted 1:1 assistance to students, primarily in classroom settings (about 5-7 students per class)
  • Implement behavioral support strategies tailored to individual student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to promote student success
  • Maintain accurate records and communication to support student progress
  • Foster a positive, respectful atmosphere for all students
