This full-time, contract opportunity near Meriden, CT, offers 32.5 hours per week supporting students on the Autism Spectrum and those facing a range of behavioral challenges. Working closely within classroom settings, you'll focus primarily on 1:1 support, ensuring each student has the individualized attention they need to thrive.

Key Qualifications:
• At least 1-2 years of direct experience in behavioral or special education environments
• Strong background working with students with Autism and behavioral challenges
• Genuine compassion and patience in supporting kids with diverse needs
• Comfortable assisting with toileting and personal care when necessary
• Excellent teamwork skills for collaborative classroom environments
• Strong communication skills to effectively support teachers and students

Primary Responsibilities:
• Deliver consistent 1:1 and small-group support for students within classroom settings
• Implement behavior intervention strategies under teacher direction
• Foster a positive, supportive learning environment for students with mild to extreme needs
• Assist students with daily routines, including occasional toileting
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and specialists to best support individual student goals
• Maintain documentation and communication as required
