Collaborate with a dedicated educational team supporting students with intensive needs in a K-12 setting for the upcoming 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 academic year. This contract opportunity calls for ten experienced paraprofessionals eager to make a daily impact in classrooms and throughout the school community. You’ll be working full-time, typically between 32.5 and 37.5 hours per week, guiding students through their academic and social development and helping cultivate an inclusive, supportive learning environment.

What You'll Bring:

  • Previous experience as a paraprofessional, particularly within a school setting
  • Demonstrated ability to assist students with diverse and intensive needs
  • Willingness to adapt and contribute across multiple K-12 grade levels
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with educators, students, and families
  • Dependability and a nurturing approach to student engagement
  • An understanding of confidentiality and respect for each child’s privacy
  • Availability from August 2026 through June 2027 for a consistent, on-site role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support individual and small-group instruction under the direction of licensed teachers
  • Assist with the implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Foster positive and productive classroom atmospheres
  • Provide academic, behavioral, and personal care support as required
  • Encourage social skills, independence, and self-advocacy among students
  • Track and report progress to the educational team
  • Help ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all students
