Qualifications & Experience:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional within a school setting is preferred
• Strong interest or background in working with medically fragile students, especially with middle school age
• Experience or familiarity with G-tube feeding and toileting is highly beneficial
• Ability to follow care plans precisely and adapt to the student’s changing needs
• Compassion, patience, and strong communication skills when supporting non-verbal students
• Professionalism, reliability, and a commitment to maintaining student confidentiality at all times

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide dedicated 1:1 assistance to a middle school student throughout the school day
• Implement care routines including G-tube feeding and toileting with utmost care and respect
• Assist with mobility, classroom engagement, and communication using alternative methods
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and nurses to support the student's learning and well-being
• Foster a nurturing, inclusive, and supportive environment for both the student and the classroom
