This full-time contract opportunity runs from August 3, 2026, through May 27, 2027, offering the chance to empower learners and support virtual special education instruction. You’ll collaborate with school psychologists or speech-language pathologists working remotely, ensuring that students receive essential services and guidance across multiple campuses.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree, OR ParaPro assessment score of 450+, OR completion of at least 48 semester credit hours
- Experience in special education classroom environments required
- Ability to pass a district-required drug screen and fingerprint background check, along with agency credentialing
- Strong communication skills and adaptability in a virtual instruction setting
- Reliable and organized, with the ability to work full-time, 35 hours per week
- Willingness to facilitate learning across potentially multiple school sites (assignments will be confirmed prior to start)
Responsibilities:
- Act as liaison and in-person facilitator for students receiving services from virtual school psychologists or SLPs
- Support students in accessing digital resources and ensure smooth technology use during sessions
- Assist with classroom organization, behavior management, and adapting materials to student needs
- Foster a supportive, inclusive environment that maximizes student participation and growth
- Communicate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to monitor progress and troubleshoot concerns
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold best practices for student safety and well-being
