Empower students and make a real difference as a full-time Paraprofessional supporting school-based virtual learning for the upcoming academic year. Your dedication will help facilitate critical services from virtual School Psychologists or Speech-Language Pathologists and support positive outcomes for students in the New Orleans area.

This contract opportunity begins August 3, 2026 and continues through May 27, 2027, offering consistent hours at 35 per week (7 hours/day, plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch). You’ll work collaboratively within school environments, assigned to one or more campuses (assignments to be determined), focusing on supporting special education classrooms and assisting with virtual sessions.

Key Qualifications:

• Associates Degree OR ParaPro assessment score of at least 450 OR a minimum of 48 completed semester credit hours (must meet at least one).
• Experience in special education (SPED) classroom settings is required.
• Strong interpersonal skills, organizational ability, and comfort facilitating technology-assisted instruction.
• Must successfully complete district-required drug screening and fingerprinting, in addition to the agency’s credentialing processes.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Act as an on-site facilitator for remote School Psychologists or SLPs during student sessions.
• Support students with special needs, ensuring safe and productive learning environments.
• Assist with the implementation of educational and behavioral strategies as directed by licensed professionals.
• Prepare materials, maintain records, and collaborate with school staff.
