Instructional Aide - Middletown, PA

This contract position offers three openings supporting an engaging, inclusive school environment near Middletown, PA. Position Details:

• Full-time, 35 hours per week
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 am – 2:30 pm
• Contract dates: August 24, 2026 – June 10, 2027
• Three total openings: one-on-one support for a 9th grade female student, and two positions providing support in autistic support classrooms (grades K-3)
• Immediate interviews available

Desired Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in a school setting as a paraprofessional or personal care assistant
• Understanding of how to support students with unique needs (autism experience a plus)
• Ability to build positive rapport and provide compassionate, reliable care
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with teachers, therapists, and families
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all student interactions

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the academic, social, and behavioral goals set for assigned students
• Provide hands-on assistance and encouragement to foster independence and participation
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Model appropriate behaviors, reinforcing positive social and academic skills
• Assist students with daily routines as needed, maintaining a safe, supportive environment
