Qualifications:

  • At least one year of experience working professionally with school-aged children
  • Preferred: Two or more years of experience in a school-based paraprofessional role
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and students of various backgrounds
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Reliable, flexible, and able to adapt to the school environment

Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in classroom management and instructional support for students
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students as directed
  • Support students with diverse learning needs in both academic and behavioral tasks
  • Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom atmosphere
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the collective goals of the classroom
  • Carry out other duties as assigned by classroom or school administration
