Multiple opportunities exist for Paraprofessionals or Instructional Aides to work within welcoming general education classrooms across several school sites. Engage closely with either Transitional Kindergarten–Kindergarten or 1st–5th grade students, playing a key role in their daily success from August 17th, 2026, through June 11th, 2027.
What You’ll Bring:
- Previous experience as a Paraprofessional, Instructional Aide, or similar support role in a school setting
- Compassion, reliability, and enthusiasm for working with early learners
- Willingness and comfort assisting children with toileting and diapering
- Ability to work effectively as part of a classroom team and adapt to student needs
- Completion of required paraprofessional training (or willingness to complete prior to assignment)
- Dependable attendance and professional communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support and encouragement to students in both academic and social settings
- Assist lead teachers with classroom management and daily instructional activities
- Aid students with varying needs including toileting/diapering for younger children
- Foster a nurturing, inclusive environment that helps every child feel safe and supported
- Help organize classroom materials and facilitate both group and individual activities
This full-time assignment averages 32.5 hours per week (either 7:45am–2:45pm or 8:00am–3:00pm), offering a consistent weekday schedule. The role involves placements at multiple elementary school campuses in close proximity to Mill Valley, north of San Francisco. Please assess your commute; some routes may involve a bridge with a daily toll.
